Reservations will only be made, and confirmed, on receipt of 20% deposit.
Booking in advance is not always necessary however it is recommended.
Payment Terms
In order to confirm a booking for a tour, a 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid at time of booking.
The final balancing payment of 80% must be received no later than 1 calendar month before the tour date.
Short Notice Bookings
Short notice bookings (i.e. 7 days or less) will require full payment on the day of booking and are non-refundable.
How to Pay
Payments can be accepted by credit card or bank transfer. All booking fees are quoted in British Pounds Sterling.
Cancellation Policy
Our Cancellation Policy below applies to all tour bookings.
- 28 or more days prior to tour date – 80% of total purchase amount can be refunded *
- 15-28 days prior to tour date – 75% of total purchase amount can be refunded *
- 7-14 days prior to tour date – 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded *
- 6 days prior to tour date – Non-refundable
- “No-show” by the client on the day – Non-refundable
Cancellation by Glascotours. In the exceptional circumstances that Glascotours (Ian Smith) requires to cancel the Tour, clients will be informed immediately and a full refund of all monies paid will be made. Liability is limited to the cost of the tour only and specifically excludes any consequential losses.
Insurance It is strongly recommend that customers arrange suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance prior to booking.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Scots law and any matter or claim arising shall be dealt with only by Scottish Courts.
Clients booking a tour with Glascotours should understand that their contract with Glascotours / Ian Smith is to provide road transport only and specifically excludes any additional excursions, food or accommodation.
Clients who book a tour with Glascotours are deemed to accept the above Terms and Conditions.
